A great architectural find, a circa 1920's piece of Chicago's history, a red clay glazed terracotta brick from Chicago's Northwestern Terracotta CO Factory on Wrightwood Ave., the famous factory founded by W. Gates on Chicago's North side. The glazed brick sent to you will be similar to this glazed decorative brick, red clay with a dynamic graphic design as you can see from the pictures . It measures 10" inches long by 2 1/4" inches high and 5" inches deep in great vintage overall condition with only a few small chips that do not affect it's beauty or significance as seen in photo. A rare historical artifact find, as garden decoration or doorstop, heritage from Chicago's famous Architectural past !
