Item details

Vintage from the 1940s

Materials

metal, rubber, bakelite

This Electro-Voice Cardax Model 950 microphone has the iconic look of the 1940s-50s with its Art Deco inspired lines. The mic features a polished aluminum body, contoured base designed to fit comfortably in a hand and pivots back approx. 80 degrees. It comes with an 18' long cord that screws into the base of the mic and has a 1/4 jack. This mic is untested so we have no idea if it works or not. We are selling "AS IS" for use as a prop, display piece or restoration project.

DIMENSIONS:
Mic is 6.25" (16cm) X 2.5"(6cm) X 3" (7.5cm). Cord is 18' long

CONDITION:
As mentioned above this mic has not been tested but is in good vintage condition especially considering the age. It is clean and the polished aluminum body is in good shape with a few light scuffs and scratches but no dents or major issues. The switch operates smoothly. We did notice that if you shake it, you can here something rattling around inside. The cord is in good shape but there is some rust on the coils of the jack and the jack itself is loose.

SHIPPING:
FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the USA. Discounted International shipping as shown.
