A hand-embroidered excerpt from an e.e. cummings poem, "pity this busy monster, manunkind".

The embroidery reads, "listen: there's a hell of a good universe next door; let's go" in gold, brown, and yellow embroidery thread. It is within a charming landscape painting I found at a thrift store, and sits in a wooden frame. It is ready to hang with hardware on the back.

The actual painting measures about 9.5'' in length and 7.5'' high. The whole thing, including the frame, measures 15.5'' long and about 13.5'' high.
