FACT and FICTION:

FACT: I am, admittedly, a sort of fashion tramp. Last year I didn't like Granny Afghans, but this year, if they aren't all fuzzy and gross, and if the colors are right, well, I love them.
This is the only one I've seen that I had to have. Why? Because it felt like it was made from natural yarn and was not all fuzzy and bally, like the acrylic yarn ones. I brought it home and tested the yarn by lighting a match to the fiber; it burned right up, as opposed to melting, as acrylics do. I think it's cotton, or at least a blend. It has the heft of natural yarns. It looks like it's never been used, and the colors are incredible...all those brights on a navy blue background. This lap quilt would look adorable in my Orange Door Cottage. I think it's amazing that someone crocheted all those squares.
66" x 45"
I'll ship anywhere. Convo me for rates to your country.

FICTION: Richard and Lorna pretended they were cold and asked for the Granny quilt.
Once they had it wrapped all cozily around them, all manner of touchy feelie behavior commenced, as they watched The Ed Sullivan Show with Lorna's parents.
