Highlights
Shaker furniture is so simple, functional, and beautiful. This Step Stool was often used around the kitchen by the Shakers. With a tall back, it's easy to lift and carry, no bending over to pick it up, and has a hole in the back to hang it on the wall if you like, just like the Shakers did.
Made with all Dovetail joinery, this stool is very strong and will last for generations.
Pictured is the stool in Cherry, the traditional wood for the Shakers. It is also available in Walnut. If you would like it in another wood species, please let me know.
Dimensions: The back is 31" tall, the step is 9" tall, the width is 7" and the depth is 10 1/2"
As with all Foothill Furniture pieces, this item is fully customizable.

This understated step could mistakenly be regarded as just that. However the dovetails, hardwood, finish and detail work makes it a masterpiece in keeping with the Shakers, Amish or Gustav Stickley. My children will use it, their children will cherish it.
A gorgeous piece of craftsmanship--quite the conversation starter!--and it functions exactly as intended. I asked for the step to be one inch higher than the prototype, and it's perfect. Seller was exceptionally prompt in all communications, and the well packaged item shipped precisely when he said it would. Great experience all the way around. Thank you, David!
