Vintage from the 1970s

Stunning brown lace bolero jacket/blouse by obscure boutique label 'Froks by Phillip and Judith'. I've had this for a while and never been able to find anything out about them. The fabric is one that was used by Jeff Banks and Lee Bender for Bus Stop so it certainly dates it to the early Seventies. It also has a classic Seventies-does-Thirties vibe consistent with that date. I love the unusual detail on the sleeves, which gives them a slight puff at the top. I imagine it once went with a dress, but it's a lovely little thing which would look great over a simple Thirties-style slip dress.
