I always advice to remove the jewelry when you sleep and dry it carefully when it get wet for longer wear life.

Oxidized silver:

Oxidized or blackened silver is an oxidation process used to give sterling silver a black antiqued patina.
The black patina of the surface with continued use and rubbing will gradually change over time to a more silver color.
We recommend you do not clean your oxidized silver jewelry with cleaning dips or abrasives to protect the oxidized finish.
