Listing for KNITTING PATTERN ONLY - Maebry Top down cardigan - P152
Worked from the top down in one piece. After completion of garter stitch Neckband the cardigan is worked in st st for the Fronts and Back, with 5 sts at each end worked in garter stitch for the borders. Sleeves are worked in garter stitch. There are two versions for the Sleeves, one knitted flat and the other knitted in the round. The border is worked in my version of the daisy stitch pattern.

MATERIALS REQUIRED - Sublime Extra Fine Merino DK 116m (127 yrds) per 50 gram ball
Long Sleeve Cardigan (A) 3 X 50 gram balls, (B) 3 X 50 gram balls, (C) 4 X 50 gram balls, (D) 4 X 50 gram balls, (E) 5 X 50 gram balls
One pair 3.75mm (US 5 : UK 9) long straight needles or circular needle
One set 3.75mm (US 5 : UK 9) double-pointed needles if working

TENSION / GAUGE
22 stitches x 31 rows / rounds = 10 cm (4 in) worked in st st on 3.75mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles.

Loved this pattern! I haven't made it yet, but will very soon. It looked easy and straightforward. I especially liked that it had the option of knitting the sleeve either seamless or with a seam. I'm not a fan of using dpn's, so knitting the sleeves flat and seaming was a home-run for me!

A brilliant pattern. A bit difficult at first with all the markers but I persevered and it is a lovely jacket. Have never knitted a 'from the neck down' before and I have knitted for about 75 years!!!!
