All of our Eco-friendly photo albums are lovingly handmade by a small multi generational family business in Rajasthan, India.

The leather which these photo albums are made from is a by-product of the meat industry and is tanned using natural dyes.

Each photo album has 36 pages of Khadda paper interspersed with protective tissue paper holding 72 6x4 inch photos. Khadda paper is made from recycled unbleached cotton, a by-product of the garment industry in Jaipur. Ensuring a chemical free paper that provides a perfect surface for writing, drawing and painting. (Use with a fountain pen is not recommended)

We recommend using photo corners to mount photos but they can also be glued in.

We are a Fair Trade company therefore all of our products are made under Fair Trade conditions, we have made numerous trips to India to ensure all the working conditions are of the upmost standards

These photo albums age fantastically and make perfect diaries, scrap books and travel journals.

As the journals are handmade there are very slight variances in design and colour making every journal truly unique. Leather being a natural product will pick up the occasional scratch/crease here and there. While we think this adds to its charm and beauty, it might not be to everyone's taste. We ask you take this into consideration when ordering.
