This listing is for a digital file to make a 1795-1805 reticule, based on an extant in the Rijk Museum ( )

Difficulty: Medium
Number of thread changes: 31 or 24 (see below)

This includes two files - one to make the original reticule as seen at the Rijk Museum, which includes 4 different shades of green for the leaves, and requires 40 thread changes, as well as a less museum accurate one, but reduces the number of thread changes to 24, and uses 15 colors total. While ambitious, these files result in a lovely little reticule that is perfect for you to sew up. The pattern line is also included, (without seam allowance) so you can cut it out (after you add your own seam allowance), and sew as you see fit.

The file included is a PES files, HUS files, and VIP files. But if you need to convert this to another file type such as Viking, just shoot me a message and I'll get back to you within 48 hours.

Please note that the original file was made on PE Design 10. This should open readily in PE Design 10 but cannot be guaranteed to open in any other program. The designer is not responsible for the file not opening in other versions of PE Design or other design programs.

The file is 10.7"x6.4" so please make sure it'll fit in your hoop before purchasing.

Due to the digital nature of this product, there are no refunds or exchanges.

This embroidery pattern was perfection! As long as you trim the jumps as you go, it works up very quickly, despite all the thread changes. I've gotten numerous compliments on the finished reticule :). Can't recommend this pattern highly enough.

Beautiful embroidery design, turned out really well and was mesmerising to watch while being stitched (I'm still new to machine embroidery :)). Fun little sewing project! It would be nice if the reticule outline could be optional though, the pattern including the outline was just 1 or 2 cm too big for my frame (although my conversion from imperial to metric when checking measurements might partially be to blame for that).
