"I have always tried to hide my efforts and wished my works to have the light joyousness of springtime, which never lets anyone suspect the labors it has cost me."
--Henri Matisse

This started off as a previously loved 100% cotton top that is black and white floral with eyelet-embroidery on hemline. I altered this garment in many ways.

On frontside: At neck area, Mexican-inspired cotton-corduroy and buttons. Bright pink crochet. Embroidery on black (a representational "angel"), more buttons. Many quilting scraps including Kaffe Fassett. An apron with 2 pockets.

On backside: A vintage textile from France and a RedFish butterfly. More of the apron from frontside. A button. Kaffe horizontal strips.

Here are the measurements; I will call this a Size Small (I wish it fit me, a Size Medium--it does not):

bust to 34"
length of top 29"
hips to 42".

Carries the Random Scraps of Fabric label and is signed by me, Bonny Gorsuch in Oregon, USA. Thank you for your interest and God Bless!
