"Cypress Bayou" is a 24 x 36" oil and acrylic painting on stretched canvas.
When I began this painting, all I knew for sure was that I wanted to do another acrylic drip background and create a possible landscape, so I used blues, greens, browns, and yellows with a touch of red. Looking at the completed background I began to see trees, water, sun, and a possible bayou; thus, the subject of the painting was formed and completed using oil paints. The setting seemed perfect for adding some egrets.
My style of painting is representational impressionism. When I paint a landscape or cityscape, I would like people to imagine walking into the painting or to just sit back and enjoy it.
A certificate of authenticity (COA) will accompany the painting. It has been protected with satin varnish and is ready to be framed.
The painting will be carefully packaged, insured, and shipped. If it is damaged in transit, please return in original packaging for insurance purposes, and I will provide a full refund. if you live within 60 miles of my home, I can hand deliver.
