This is a very high end, asymmetrical, and definitely a statement making skirt!
It would definitely fit nicely in a rack at Barney's New York. :)

I think this is great to wear in a hip work environment or a night out.
For a more classic conservative sexy librarian look, you can wear this with a simple fitted black cardigan and black heels. This will really showcase the skirt as your main piece.
If you want to do a more punk style, then definitely like most of my pieces, rock it out with leather knee high boots and fishnets.....what a way to make a sexy statement!!

The skirt is made from 100% wool suiting.
It feels great on the skin, not like the itchy furry wools.
The front and back have an asymmetrical triangular yoke.
There are black silk trims topstitched on the front and back part of the yoke.
There is also a beautiful bow made from high-end Italian cotton nylon chintz with a silver metal button and hanging chains.
The same buttons are used on the front side to lift up the skirt.

The bottom hem is finished with a polyester satin bias tape.

There is no lining as the fabric is thick enough and comfortable on the skin.
There is an invisible zipper on the left side seam.

HOW & WHAT TO MEASURE WHEN PURCHASING A SKIRT:
Here's a little more information about measurements, which can be used for any of my skirts:
Your true waist is the thinnest part of your waist, which is usually right above the belly button.
The true hip size is 7-9" down from your true waist. (Note: it does not include the biggest part of your butt)

When you actually wear a skirt or pants however, we wear them somewhere in between the two that is comfortable for us.
It is up to you if you like to wear it lower on the waist line or closer to the true waist.
What I suggest is to measure at least 1" above your pelvic bone. If not, the skirt will probably be too big and your undies might show!

Example:
a person with 26" true waist and 34" true hip on average wears a skirt with a 30" width waist.
