Description

Wine bottle glass from Germany is sweet talked into yielding elegantly funky maple leaf earrings with a blue hue...

These are the blue maple leaves that you every once and awhile wonder if they really do exist. Existential jabberwocky intertwined with wine bottle glass alchemy to the rescue! The leaves are a delicate 1/16" thick by 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/8" long with a curvy 1/2" copper stem (Poorman Slumping is generally cobbled in inches, but for all the rest of the world, the measurements are 1.5875 mm x 28.575 mm x 31.75 mm)! Dust off those blue suede shoes in the back of the closet, find The Plastic Ono Band from Toronto, Canada from your stash of old vinyls, and let out a howl! And don't forget, just as in nature, your blue leaves may have slight variations to celebrate and dance to--Hurra!

I enjoy a natural patina as metals begin to oxidize in the scheme of things...silver solder lines and copper rods for leaf stems develop a lovely patina over time. In light, the pieces will present a dark solder line (I don't apply acid to the metals unless requested) and copper stems will appear dark with natural light. At night, the ambient light from indoors will give a different view, reflecting off the various metals.

Gorgeous. Craftmanship outstanding. Leaf moves gently inside, below a ceiling fan, as if it were outside in a lovely breeze.

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Don't forget that PayPal doesn't require you to have a PayPal account--PayPal will walk you through, using your credit card--always be wary of feral mushrooms in onion sauce...especially when you are exhausted. And of course, Direct Checkout is another option!

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 21 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

Returns and exchange details
Your satisfaction is my top priority. If you want to return or exchange an item, I will accept it back within the first 7 days of receipt. The item must return in a new and unused condition, in its original packaging.

Please contact me about returning in advance.

Custom Orders are not refundable. I try and provide as much information about the process--including progress reports with photographs--which require approval before each stage is embarked upon.

Refunds will be issued through PayPal or Direct Checkout, less the shipping costs.

Shipping policies

USPS Priority and Priority International--sure it's more expensive, but your stuff isn't rattling around with seventy pound dumb-bell sets and concrete slabs!

Korrvu packaging cartons are uncannily cool--your glass piece is actually suspended between film in the center of the carton! For smaller sun catchers, I may use foam wrap, inside a bubble wrap mailer, inside a corrugated carton.

First Class Mail International and Parcel Post is another option if you're not in a hurry and trust the Korrvu packaging carton (they're pretty indestructible)--in most cases, shipping costs would drop dramatically from Priority and Priority International. Send me a convo with what you're looking at, and I can figure out the USPS cost before you buy.

Odds n Ends regarding International Orders...

If you desire insurance, please indicate in "Message to Seller" upon purchase and continue payment. You will receive an invoice with the remaining balance.

Additionally...

I do not refund for packages lost/unclaimed/undeliverable.
I am not responsible for taxes and duties that may incur. All international orders are marked "Merchandise" and will not be marked as "Gift" as this is illegal for my business.

Please check your customs policies to ensure safe delivery.

I especially enjoy wranglin' a raw concept from yer lumpy, side-stepped into my slightly...fer something totally different. Did someone say esoteric?
