Vintage Sewing Pattern, 60's McCall's 7861, High Waisted, Dress, Two Styles (S) This Ladies 1965 sewing pattern makes a high waisted dress, with or without long set-in sleeves, has dart fitted bodice, two-piece gathered skirt and interfaced front buttoned opening; opening in skirt front is fastened with snaps. The skirt, of contrasting fabric, has patch pockets. Ruffles at wrists of long sleeves are formed by elastic sewn underneath sleeves, and bias self-fabric ruffle is included in neckline and front facing seam. The dress of two fabrics has a ribbon belt at high waistline seam, tied in a bow at front and held in place by thread carriers. The dress of one fabric has a self-fabric tie belt.
