FAKE DESIGNS ALERT 😲
Signatures like 'Husár D', ‘Taboo" or ‘Bijoux MG‘ are not Czech old traditional designer names or marks, as some sellers wrongly claim. No information referencing any Czech jewelry maker by any these names has ever been found. Not in historical records in which they were supposed to have been so well known and successful in business. These pieces are NEWLY made fantasy pieces in vintage look.
Also, it is not true that between the 1920-50s the jewels were heavily soldered. Visible soldering is how jewelry looks before it’s plated, the solder is meant to be covered with rhodium, gold or silver. But, since plating is expensive, the pieces remains unplated, being described as vintage.
Not in Bohemians worst nightmares would jewelry ever have looked like this, unplated (unfinished) with visible soldering and signature. A true famous jewelry designer would never allow unfinished jewelry to be sold with his name attached to it, Mr. David Husár is currently living in Jablonec, Czech Republic and was establlished in 2006. He is one of the people making new rhinestone creations.
👉Don't buy antique or vintage Czech vintage Costume Jewelry without seeing a detailed photo of the back. Ifit is unfinished AND signed, it is a FAKE.
Offering Aurora Borealis rhinestone items from the 1920-30's is misleading since Aurora Borealis was developed by Swarovski in 1955.
