This beautiful milk glass compote (or comport) has a lovely openwork edge. This pattern is called the 'Scroll and Eye,' made by Fenton in this light turquoise shade called 'green pastel' for a only short time around 1954.

Measures 5 3/4 inches high, 8 inches outer diameter and about 6 inches diameter of flat space inside the bowl. Unmarked.

Overall condition is very good, with no chips, cracks or repairs. A few light scratches on the top surface. A few tiny mold flaws, and variation in the color, all consistent with Fenton of this period.
