This vintage perfume bottle is an exceptional signed piece of Correia Art Glass, c 1986. It stands little over 3” high and 2 ½” wide, signed by the artist, Limited Edition 128 of 850 and bears the undeniable mark of Correia. Perfect for the mid century boudoir and vanity.

Created by the Correia artisans, utilizing a freehand blowing technique where hot glass is applied to hot glass, this double blown perfume has a magenta interior bulb encased by clear glass. The interior of clear bulb has an iridescent layer cascading in gold and jewel toned purple, blues and greens. Impossible to photograph the true beauty of the fluid color created by metal oxides, this piece truly has to be held to be fully enjoyed.

A little History:

Correia Art Glass, founded in 1973 by Steven V. Correia and located in Santa Monica, California, is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, the Corning Museum and the Chrysler Museum of Arts as well as being included in the White House art holdings.

Each unique piece is signed, dated and registered for authenticity. This museum quality perfume bottle was used only for display and has never held perfume. Purchased from a prestigious estate in Winter Park, Florida, there are no chips or scratches on either the bottle or the stopper. This phenomenal piece a fabulous value; shipping and insurance are included in the price!
