The leaves of this plant are edible! Did you know: Tri’ refers to all plant with parts grow in three’s. ‘Llium’ refers to the funnel shaped flower. ‘Undulatum’ refers to the wavy edge of the petal.

* Bloom Time - Spring to early Summer
* Bloom Color - White changing to pink
* Size - 8" to 16" tall
* Culture - Part to full shade, enjoys woodland setting.
* Characteristics - This is a woodland plant that likes acidic soil but will acclimate to many types of soil. It is 3 large white petals that change from white to "painted" pink as blooms, fade over a week or more.
* Special Features - Did you know that trillium is not native to Europe. This is one reason that our colonists were so taken with these woodland beauties when they arrived. They had simply never seen anything like them.
* Germination - Seeds do best when planted outdoors in the fall. And naturalize very slowly, but so worth the wait!
