This book page or plate is from a 1981 edition of P.J. Redoute's "Most Beautiful Flowers". It is printed on ivory paper and is a one sided print. Redoute was a French illustrator of plants who was prolific in his work. He had access to the gardens at Versailles and served both Marie Antoinette and Josephine as an artist. His work is recognized as some of the finest in accuracy and rendering.

This page measures 10 by 13 inches. The image is 10 1/2 by 8 1/2 which includes the name of the flower at the bottom. The page is very clean with only a couple of areas on the edge where the page has bent slightly from turning the page while in the book. There are no tears or foxing present.

Shipping is via USPS First Class mail. It is packed in an acid free acetate envelope and a manilla envelope with a hard backing. Combined shipping is available with other prints for $1.
