I just love these simple but beautiful French monument heart plaques!

It is so rare to find them still in good condition, and I have been lucky enough to come into a small collection of these wonderful beauties.

This iron heart is simply done and states that Victor Raison died November 11, 1884 at the age of 74.

This piece measures 8-5/8" across x 9-1/4" high. The iron has weathered to a dove grey with raised text.

This piece started to crack down the center, and in keeping with that period, it was not unusual to staple a treasured piece to keep it from breaking any further. I love this added piece of detail and character, and overall, this piece is in wonderful condition with only a slight staining on the back due to 127 years of weather!

This French iron plaque will look beautiful on the wall, as part of a vignette, or placed in a garden setting.
