Stoneware ceramic Hot Plate protects your surfaces from a large, hot pan, skillet, or crock pot. Available in five colors, Hot Plate is 8.5 inches in diameter, and 3/4 an inch thick from footed bottom to top surface. Stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, and food safe, and can stand up to the shock of intense heat from cooking vessels. It is made on the potters wheel thrown upside down using a plaster hump mold. This allows for consistent size and flatness. Finished product weights 1 lb. 10 oz. Each is hand made, however, so expect minor variations in size, shape, and color.
