This bag's story:
The Gashonga Women's Cooperative of Rwanda started in 2009 when 85 women coffee farmers pooled their resources and became stronger as a group. The cooperative is now Fair Trade certified, has grown to 100 members, and has been able to acquire health insurance for members, improving their security and safety.
This listing is for the sack pictured. As this bag is an authentic coffee sack, it was used for unroasted coffee bean transportation and may show wear, markings and dust consistent with its previous use. Machine wash is not recommended and dyes are not guaranteed to be colorfast.
