Well my current artwork is off on a spin; the “Truckin Series”. It began, thanks to my grandson Owen. Leave it to a 3-year-old’s observation to make us adults feel silly. One day he and his mom (our daughter Beth) were taking Papaw (me) out to lunch. Owen was in the back buckled up in his car seat and was peering over my shoulder. He says Papaw what’s in that Truck up there? I said you mean what is it hauling he said yeah, I said I don’t know. He said its hauling tires, and I said well I guess it could be. He didn’t say anything. Then the semi truck rounded a curve up ahead which revealed a Tire company logo on its side.

So now we have a fun new game to play while riding in the car. I wonder what that truck is hauling: is it toys, tricycles or trains, is it candy, chocolate or lollipops where is it from, where is it going. The possibilities are endless of course, but fun for thought.

I had a lot of fun making Truckin 4 Love. So now there is Truckin 4 Peace, in process is Truckin 4 Green Living. Susan wants me to do Truckin 4 Chocolate.
