Description

This PDF format tutorial will guide you step by step through how to make your own 10-12 inch art doll inside a low relief dimensional mini collage world. No prior experience is needed to enjoy and follow the lesson!

Language: English -- it is free to translate the files into any language using Google's translation tool

During this 4-part workshop, you will build a 12” by 12” shadow box and the unusual little doll who inhabits it. Learn how to alter and securely attach dimensional elements to create a dream-like mini environment. The doll and her surroundings are made to fit within a depth of less than 2 inches.

I will show you step by step how to:
☂ Construct your own decorative shadow box using simple techniques and materials

☂ Paint a multi-layered decorative background step by step

☂ Build a complete 10-11" doll from the armature up with unusual methods

☂ Your doll will be partially sculpted and partially drawn using methods I have developed

☂ Face and hand templates included--no drawing skills needed!

☂ Learn to costume and wig your original doll

☂ Alter common elements to form the scenery in your shadow box

☂ Learn which paints, glazes, glues, mediums and materials will work for dimensional collage

☂ Learn to pull collage elements together so they look like they belong

☂ Create an art piece unlike any other!

☂ Apply the skills you use in this workshop to your doll making, dimensional art, assemblage or collage!

The guide is over 80 pages long with dozens of full color photos and descriptions to walk you through every part of making your doll and her environment. You can print out select pages or the entire document--it is up to you!

All lessons will be released at once. Please let me know which email address you would like the files sent to and whether you need files sent separately (for email accounts with smaller attachment limits). If you need any support during your project, I will be just an email away!

Please convo me if you have any questions! :]

I've read through the tutorial and it seems like it will be challenging but easy to follow. When I do get a chance to gather all the supplies needed to try this, it is nice to know that I can ask questions if needed. Thanks!
