English bone china

This fine English bone china creamer and open sugar bowl is from England's highly respected Aynsley china company, and can be identified by its particular bottom mark to the 1990s. The pattern is called Wild Tudor. The creamer and sugar design has a basically low rectangular shape and look even though it does incorporate a variety of soft curving lines and pastel floral decoration that give it considerable grace. The reason for the low rectangular shape is that it was meant to fit into spaces for it in one of Aynsley's beautiful porcelain strawberry serving baskets (as seen in the final photo).

The Wild Tudor pattern is no longer in production, but it is likely that this accessory pair was sold separately from the strawberry basket even though the basket included spaces for the pieces. The basket is not included in this listing.

Dimensions of the pieces are: Sugar bowl - 2 1/2 wide x 3 3/4” long x 2 1/4” high, and Creamer - 2 1/2”wide x 3 1/2” long x 3 1/4 high Both pieces are In pristine condition with their original blue and gold Aynsley stickers still attached. These are an unusually fine and pristine pair perfect as a gift for yourself or someone on your gift list.
