WAS $255 now only $225! Dresses like this often sell upwards of $500 - $600! Keep this one for yourself or resell! AMAZING Vintage Rayon Piece from my Personal Collection!

The traditional Hawaiian Pake mu'u mu'u is a style that epitomizes the cultural blends of Hawaii - Japanese, Chinese, and of course Hawaiian. The stunning pake muu was an adaptation of the holoku, distinguished by a high Chinese collar and wing-effect sleeves; rayon, 1940s. Rayon materials from this era are covetted by collectors world wide and this particular maker, Nani of Hawaii is a popular among collectors!

I am offering for you this rare Vibrant hibiscus and astract print Nani of Hawaii soft, silky rayon Pake mu'u mu'u circa 1940's. It is in truly outstanding condition for its age and the colors are beautifully vibrant in shades of purple, fuschia, green, white and yellow. At this price it is a steal! A great collector's item or this could be used in a store for resale! And it's a rarer hard to find Lg/XL size for the time! And you often see these selling for upwards of $600 on Ebay!

The dress has a metal side zipper and beautiful vertical darting through the bodice to give a long lean, curve hugging fit. There are short butterfly sleeves lined in contrasting purple and a nice V'd neck with a fold over collar and a single rayon frog closure in the Asian style. The dress is beautifully printed to accentuate the bodies' natural lines and there is no fade to the fabric (except a tiny tiny bit at the fold over collar). The dress is unlined (except the contrast sleeves) and it is light weight but not sheer. It is so silky you would think it was silk!

The amazing thing about this Rare Collector's dress in this amazing print is that is a larger size for the time period also, measuring to be about a modern day US 10 - 12. It measures when lying flat (no stretch)

19" undearm
16" across waist area (no defined waist seam, the dress is long and one piece)
20 - 21" max across hip area
54" long measured from back neckline to bottom hem
12" slits on either side of bottom of dress
3/4" hem on bottom
14" sleeve length with wide flaring pointed ends
16.5" across back of shoulders

Condition as noted is Vintage Excellent. Besides showing very minor wear, it looks like this dress was covetted and cared for. I have had in my personal collection for over 10 years and have only worn it once or twice and it was drycleaned after each wear. There are no rips, tears, stains that I can find, etc.... as noted and this is being quite picky, there is a small bit of fade at the fold over collar.

This may be wrinkled when it arrives, so it may need a steaming or pressing when it arrives.

Please ask all questions before you purchase as all items are sold as is, no returns.
