She walked in beauty like a Rose!

Roaring 20's quilted coat.
Black and pink quilted silk.
Wide lapels.
Generous sleeves.
Silk embroidery in rose pink, yellow, pale yellow and black.
Velveteen rose patches in coral pink and olive taupe.
Fully lined in coral pink rayon.

Label: purchased at the Paris Flea Market in 1972.

Condition: This garment has signs of wear. Significant silk separation in the pink fabric at the inside back collar, along the cuffs and some other areas throughout the body of the garment. The black silk and rayon lining are stable. A few stains mostly on the collar lapels. However, this is very clean garment, well cared for and definitely wearable up to a point. It will make a statement! Wear it as a robe/coat for a special occasion and turn heads... just like it once did in 1924!

I'm selling this item as an antique textile. It's an extraordinary 1920's Parisian relic.... rare and exceptionally beautiful. I originally purchased it for sample work in textile design. I wore it rarely. It can be worn, but as an antique textile. Wear it like jewelry! Cleaning would require the attention of an antique textile professional. It's been beautifully preserved.
