Just found is this vintage cast iron scale with a brass tray and 7 different weights. The scale is in pretty good condition and still shows a lot of the original paint. I believe this is from the 1920's, or 30's. I could not make out the manufacturer's name because a lot of the label is missing. The brass tray has a lot of dings and it has a lot of patina on it, but it looks good. The seven weights are: three 1 lb. units, two 2 lb. units, a 3 lb. unit and a 4 lb. unit. This scale would look good as a display piece in an old fashioned retail store setting, or as a nice decorative piece in your home. Please look at the pictures and decide for yourself. Shipping will be in two separate boxes to cut the cost of shipping. Thanks for looking.

I did some research on this and found similar looking scales. I believe it was made by the Jacobs Co. The measurements are 16 1/2" long x 15 1/2" wide x 10 1/2" tall. The measurements are with the scale and the tray attached.
