A sparkling 1940s plastic and rhinestone ring. The avocado-green ring is made of a phenolic plastic, possibly Catalin or another post-Bakelite synthetic plastic. The ring is fashioned out of a single strip of plastic that crosses at the front. Starting about half way around the band, the ring is set with clear rhinestones. These continue wrapping around to the front, where two rhinestone-studded disks complete the design. There are no rhinestones missing and only a couple are dull. Condition is excellent, although someone used a hot needle on the back of the ring at some point (probably to test for bakelite) and that mark is visible. Because of the material, this ring can not be sized.

Measurements: Size 9.5 American, S 1/2 British/Australian
