Materials: wool, cashmere
A rusty orange and brown horned owl made from a variety of textured and patterned, reclaimed and scrap, wool and cashmere fabrics. Their body is a tweedy rust orange wool woven fabric. The wings are brown and beige woven pattern with a fringed edging. The hood is a dark orange textured weave, fringed around the edges. The ears are wool knit. They have a very soft cashmere tummy patch. The owl is 12" (30cm) tall to the top of his ears.
Original one-of-a-kind design, warm wool owl doll made from reclaimed washed wool and cashmere. This doll is meant as an art piece or pillow.
The owl is stuffed with polyester. The doll has a signed signature tag. This owl is made from my "Night Friend Owl" pattern which is also available in my Etsy shop. Please email me if you need more information about this doll. Thanks!

Several days ago, I ordered an owl doll from Mimi Kirshner--I couldn't decide between the orange and dark-chocolate colored doll, but settled on the dark-chocolate one. The gift was for my nephew Paul, his wife Sandra and little toddler named Nathan. The gift was received today and here is what Paul sent to me in an email: "I know this might sound silly but I think I love the owl more than Nathan. I find myself making my way to his room to catch a glimpse of him and pondering his inquisitive look. He looks so wise. Any(hoo) thank you again. We Love it! " PS Mimi's dolls are little works of art and worth every penny. Plus she was a delight to deal with.
