The retro 50s Christmas Smock is based loosely on a vintage 1950s apron pattern that was in my great grandmothers collection-- altered to fit modern size ranges. This comfortable apron is so easy to wear! Made to gently slip over your head and then tie at the waist. Wide straps go over shoulders and attach to apron in back at the waistline. (Shoulder straps are shaped and joined together across upper part of back, which is why it is sometimes called an "H back" style of apron.) Apron rests totally on the shoulders, placing no strain on the neck-- making it super comfortable to wear all day. Curved lower edges of front panel and sides add interesting scallop detail-- accented by coordinating bias trim on every seam line. Makes a great gift for the cooking/baking enthusiast on your gift list-- or for a very special treat for yourself! Great care and attention is paid when I make these aprons-- there are no exposed seams or raw edges showing on my aprons! All seams are neatly enclosed and topstitched for a sturdier and longer lasting finished product. Apron in photos is the original sample sewn to take listing photos. STANDARD SIZE (fits sizes L/XL):
♥ Length: 30 in. from top of bib to bottom of skirt
♥ Width: 43 in. at widest point of the hem, 13 in. across chest
♥ Ties at waist are each about 22 in. long

Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent. Wash dark colors separately. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Remove from dryer while still damp to minimize wrinkling. Press with medium hot iron as necessary.

Packing slips/receipts are ALWAYS included in shipments. (Marking an order as a gift removes the prices on the packing slip, similar to a retail store gift receipt.) Each apron is neatly wrapped in a plastic bag to protect the fabric. Purses are enclosed in cellophane wrap. (Packing slips are folded inside of the wrapping. Should the shipping materials or address label become damaged during shipment, this gives the Post Office another method of identifying where the package should go.)

I do not keep an inventory. Listing photos show the original sample [purse, apron, or baby blanket] created to take photos for the Etsy shop listing. Actual products may vary slightly in (fabric motif) design placement due to the nature of creating everything individually from scratch. Nothing in my shop is mass produced-- everything is cut & sewn individually after order confirmation. No two items will be completely identical simply due of the nature of handmade creation by human hands. :)

(1) In the rare event that your package is damaged, or goes missing in shipping-- you will need to fill out and file an Official Affidavit at your local Post Office before replacement or refund.

(2) If your package tracking shows "Delivered" although you have not received it, please contact your local postal office. Also check with other household members, neighbors, etc. In many cases, the package or envelope will turn up!

If all attempts fail to locate your package, please contact me. You will then need to file a claim or 'Theft Report' with the USPS Postal Inspector which will require that you sign an Affidavit regarding the missing package before your replacement or refund can be processed.
