This is an extraordinary necklace!!! When Sarah gave me this to photograph I couldn't believe it was not dyed. ( We don't like using dyed material) But upon looking it up I did find it was a natural stone from Chile. Phosphosiderite Meaning. Most of the crystals that are available for sale are said to come from Chile, Argentina, Germany, Portugal or the USA, but it is also found in a number of other European countries. Phosphosiderite is named after its composition: phosphate and iron (Greek - sideros). Phosphosiderite forms small crystals up to 2.5 cm or botryoidal masses. The color is peach-blossom-red, reddish violet, reddish purple, yellow-orange, solid pink, lavender, may be dark blue, moss-green to nearly colorless. The necklace is 20" long. The Pendant is 1-1/2 inches long and 1-1/8 inches wide. Sarah beaded this necklace with the following beads: Sterling silver, Czech glass, Venetian style blown glass, cultured pearls, lepidolite, Swarovski crystal, Butterscotch yellow agate. There are matching earrings available for purchase when you check out. Great buy for the pink lover!
