I love wrapping with brass! It is one of the best ways to create your own setting.
The 25mm glass in the pendant is from what was "occupied" Japan in the 1940's. It is white glass painted in a green marble stone pattern to imitate jade. Very pretty, and a nice example of old world craftsmanship. I chose to add a selection of coordinating beads for this well deserved piece of history. I used Swarovski's Transmission and Emerald bicones, along with some beautifully rose cut crystal clear Czech glass beads. I aged the raw brass filigree, eye pins, hook clasp and rollo chain to warm the tone. The length is 16" inches not including the clasp.
