Do not miss this kit for punch needle slippers! (Note: this kit assumes you have or will purchase punch needle supplies; they are not included). You must include your email address so I can send the PDF from Arounna.

This special kit includes:
+ Full-color, photographed PDF instructions and a special pattern (share your preferred EMAIL ADDRESS to receive this or I will send it to the email address on file with Etsy)
+ my instruction booklet for supplementary instructions
+ conventional pattern from size EU 36-42
+ interfacing for lining the slippers
+ shoe soles
+ accompanying tools including pins, needles, wax and needle pullers.

YOU WILL NEED to source your own yarn, monks cloth and punch needle; they do not come included in the kit. PDF instructions include a list of all needed supplies.

Make yourself these cozy, stunningly beautiful punch needles slippers OR give this kit as a gift. It's perfect for the winter cuddles.

When you order the kit, please include your EMAIL ADDRESS and I will email you Arounna's pattern and instructions and snail mail you shoe soles, pins, needles, wax and needle pullers along with my instruction booklet.

This kit is specially tailored to help you create punch needle slipper espadrilles. It's special special!  You can grab this kit now but sales will end on December 21st! It's a Limited Edition part of my Artist Series.

Simply choose your shoe size and I'll send you what you need for the rest. Shoe sizes are in the European size range. Please check the size chart for the US equivalent and to determine your size. I also carry a handful of sizes 2-5 U.S., reach out if you need that size. I'm happy to help!

I do my very best to make my kits eco-friendly including a recycled box, fabric scraps for decorative components and minimizing use of plastic in an attempt to be as low-waste as possible. Even my business card is made out of old t-shirts!

Please note: This listing is for a kit that does not come with fabric but it does include a PDF about how to create punch needle slipper espadrille. It's a great project for you or someone else to make slipper-style espadrille shoes. It is not, however, the sale of a completed pair of shoes. :)

More about Arounna:
Arounna is a Canadian artist and maker working in Toronto where she immigrated with her family from Laos at the age of four. While her education includes a master’s degree in fine arts in sculpture and ceramics, it was through subsequent residencies that she found her current focus in fibre arts. In 2002 she started Bookhou, a multi-disciplinary studio with her husband John Booth, where Arounna explores screen printing and a variety of textile techniques such as embroidery and punch needle. She creates objects such as bags, home goods and textile art.

In addition, Arounna’s passion for creating and belief in the importance of the handmade has allowed her to become one of Canada’s most sought-after mentors and educators working with colleges, workshops and social media projects.

Currently, Arounna’s work using the punch needle has created a social media sensation. From wall art to cushions and bags, her punch needle pieces highlight her botanical and abstract designs and her sense of colour have brought a modern, new life to an old technique.
