Vintage from the 1960s

I have this basket for a while and I hated to get rid of it but I am simply out of room !!! This is an older basket that has been painted white but it was made with nails and possibly dates back to the 60s or 70s even earlier the way it is constructed it was constructed to carry small things flowers herbs from the garden .....the insert that makes the bottom has been originally built
with tiny nails and old-time staples this is the way it was actually built one has popped up
and they ate rusty and show their age - the new buyer will want to put a ring of glue around the bottom to secure it in and possibly remove and rehammer
one of the nails —— I don’t want to mess with it due to its age i have been using as is it is lovely and does carry things the way it is

I would not put anything heavy in it though !

measurements are as follows 11” across 6” from top tobottom 7.5”wide handles measure 11” from
base remnants of a “made in “ sticker remain but
is illegible
