Description

These tiny silver dancing figures, 31 mm tall are called Dolossies.
They are my own design, professionally cast then finished by hand in solid silver.

These items are extremely wearable as jewellery. As pendant multiples they hang beautifully in a fan shape against the throat of the wearer. As a pair of hanging earrings they dance round the wearer's neck, one facing to the front and the other to the back.

These items are not sold with the earring fittings or with the chains pictured. The price is just for the purchase of one figure.

The figures are not hallmarked but weigh about 2.5 or 3 grams (they vary slightly).

(The name, Dolossies, comes from an Afrikaans word for small animal bones used in divination and the word is linked to huge concrete blocks called 'dolosse' used to protect coastlines from erosion.)
