This genuine M.I. Hummel, masterfully crafted by the W. Goebel Company, was introduced around 1940. This particular one was made by the company between 1960 and 1972.

Now known as #124/0 "Hello," it was once known as "Chef, Hello."

At its first release he had gray pants and coat and a pink vest; then green pants, a brown coat and pink vest, as you see here; and later on he was dressed in a brown coat and pants with a white vest.

"Hello Boy" measures 6 inches tall and on the back of the base is the famous M.I. Hummel imprint. On the underside of the base there's the 124/0 number along with the sylized bee and W. Germany as a back stamp indicating that the trade mark of this Hummel is a 3 and was produced during 1960-72.

It's in perfect mint condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. There's excellent color throughout and great detail.
