This adorable vintage Pyrex dish from the early 1960's is a pattern called "Butterprint," which paid homage to farmers in a folkloric way (according to the May 2011 issue of Country Living magazine, which has a feature article on vintage Pyrex). This may have been used as a butter dish, but the glass lid is missing. It is in great condition without any cracks or stains. The bottom indicates "Pyrex, Made in the USA" and holds 1-1/2 cups. It measures 3-3/4 inches across, 2-1/2 inches high, and 3 inches wide when measured from the side. The very cute rooster and cornstalk design (in turquoise) is on both the front and the back, with no design on the sides. It weighs 9-1/2 ounces by itself, but will need to be shipped in a box with packing material, so postage is higher on this item.
