This tea set would make a great addition to any collection. Beautiful yet functional.

I made this teapot and tea bowls on the potter's wheel in my Central Kansas studio. Teapot features a hand painted sunflower design. After the first firing I glazed cups and inside of teapot in a purple glaze and covered the lower portion of the teapot in a clear shiny glaze.. I fired it to almost 2200 degrees Fahrenheit in my electric kiln. After outlining the sunflower petals in white gold luster, I fired the teapot a third time. I added a bamboo handle when it was done.

Teapot with handle measures 8 inches (20.32 cm) tall. The body measures 6.5 inches (15.51 cm) in diameter. Each tea bowl measures 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) tall by 3.25 inches (8.255 cm) in diameter. Tea bowls hold 8 oz. each.

Please hand wash. Do not microwave.
