Item details

Vintage from the 1960s

Length: 1 1/4 Inches; Width: 1 1/4 Inches

Beau Sterling, whose name is stamped into the back of this pin started business in 1944 and ran until the early 2000s. Since these round pins that could be engraved with initials were popular in the 1960s I suspect this sterling silver piece started life in the 60s. It's design is more intricate and feminine than many of its contemporary cousins because of the delicately scalloped edge and the narrow band of cutout metal between the exterior and interior part of the round brooch. The primary solid metal is a pretty polished finish that is lovely worn as is, or it could still be monogrammed by a jeweler to make it a more personal gift.

The piece measures approximately 1.25" in diameter, is in excellent condition with a only very subtle evidence of handling, and it has a fully functional swivel catch. It's a classic that never goes out of style for any age lady.
