This piece is truly a labor of love. I am as passionate about endurance sports as I am about my art. As a competitive master’s runner who regularly runs 60 miles a week, I began as a cyclist back in the 1970’s. Now, training just around the corner from Encinitas, CA, I am regularly inspired by some of Triathlon’s most notable figures who have moved here for year-round training. I have attempted to meld together a feeling of speed, power and fluid motion with the beauty and grace of the female form. With her aerodynamic position on the bike, elbows neatly tucked inside, I hope this portrayal captures the spirit and form of the female triathlete. This piece is personally signed by me and is very well packed for safe arrival. Figurine measures approximately 6 inches long and 5 inches tall and is made entirely by hand of borosilicate crystal. Amazing quality!! I bought it as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and he loved it! It's bigger than I was expecting it to be, which was a welcome surprise! It's also a bit heavier than I thought it'd be as well, which makes it really feel quality! (it isn't anything real heavy, just a bit more weight than expected) it has lovely details and the way it shimmers in the light is absolutely gorgeous! 10/10, would 100% purchase from this shop again! :)
