This circa 1930, hinged wooden box was once a Jello shipping crate. Throughout its life It has been painted over a few times with its currently top coat being a shabby, worn cream white revealing dark brown paint below. You can still the the outlines of the "JELLO" lettering which was stamped in to the back panel. It features a hinged lid and finger joint corners. The interior is unpainted. A wonderful old box for stowing clutter in a farmhouse kitchen or bathroom.

13.75" wide, 6.25" tall and 8" front-to-back.

This old crate is structurally sound but as mentioned has a shabby/worn painted finish with scratches, scuffs and some nicks to the wood. The interior is clean.
