Brass mute for the 5 string banjo, makes the banjo as quiet as an acoustic guitar.
Great for when you are learning a new song and getting on your wife's nerves playing the same parts over and over.

Does not touch the strings so you can tune the banjo with it in place - "gdgbd" is still "gdgbd", just a little more quiet. Or any of the other tunings you may use.

Does not interfere with your right hand unless you like to hook your finger around the bridge and play there.

We have several of the "A" style made up, we will not make any more of those when they run out. The "B" style is easier to make, so that is what we are going with.
They both work and sound the same.

These have a "satin" finish, we can discuss the additional cost if you want it polished.
Or you can polish it yourself, they are solid brass after all.

Buy one for a friend...or a spouse....for your own sanity......

We actually have a design patent for this, check it out...D400562.
