vintage collection of girl scout items~1940's-1960's

a wonderful vintage Girl Scout pin, a type 5 Girl Scout pin, signified by its 4 stars much smaller than earlier versions, also 7 arrows staggered instead of six like later versions
The Eagle has bent legs and the back has a hallmark "B". Dating this pin to the 60's

Pin works great with locking brooch back, nice gold color, not polished, wonderful patina
measures 3/4 inch, excellent vintage condition

a wonderful trio of vintage Girl Scout books including:
Leader's Guide to the Brownie Scout Program- hard back 1957 Illustrations by Jean Calhoun, writer Ray Mitchell (slight damage to spine)

Junior Girl Scout Handbook- Soft cover, First edition Sept, 1963, Illustrations Dan Dickas

Girl Scout Handbook Soft cover, 1961 writer- Catherine C. Reiley, illustrations by Eleanor Dart

All in great vintage condition, one owner, bought in Dallas Texas late 50's early 60's

and lastly a large cotton remnant of official Girl Scout fabric from the late 40s, early 50s with printed activities of the Girl Scouts in action. Large enough for a couple of pillows, easy sew rompers, window valances or small blouse or skirt. Measures 48 inches x 46 inches. Excellent vintage condition
