Interesting little book of one man's opinions (sermons) in 1893. 'Five Short Religio-Secular Sunday Evening Lectures Delivered From The Pulpit of the First Christian Church, Emporia, Kan., in the Summer of 1889'. George did not like Socialism, Drinking or Catholics, definitely NOT your politically correct diatribe! Published by Columbian Book Co. Black cloth binding in fair antique condition, attractive dotty pattern inside covers, all binding intact. Pages are yellowed due to age, pages 12 and 13 are ripped, but complete, just need tape or mending, which I will leave to an expert. Back cover is discolored on one corner. Interesting stuff, but quite glad NOT to have George coming for dinner...
