House of History presents-
A faboulous 1950’s party dress, by Gay Gibson. I love the history of this dress due to the fact that this dress was born in Missouri, just like me! Gay Gibson was manufactured in Kansas City MO from the 1930’s to the 70’s. The cute factor of this dress is ridiculous! The ruffled detailing and low back gives astonishing lines.

1960’s Gay Gibson dress made of cotton in adorable light blue gingham. Original white talon zipper with clasp still intact and functioning well. White lace trim lines the ruffled neck and back.

Very good condition. Slight discoloring on bottom of skirt, most nonvisible due to the way the skirt hangs. Small rip in right shoulder ruffle, has been repaired with fabric patch. I believe it is missing a thin belt, three cotton loop holes remain and could be easily removed. No odor, organically dry-cleaned.

No Label size- Current size S/M or 4/6 (great fit for larger chest and smaller waist)
Shoulder to shoulder- 14”
Bust- 36”
Waist- 25”
Bottom sweep: 80”
