This is an antique Winona Reel by James Heddons Sons made in Dowagiac, Michigan in 1929. the reel is solid with the black paint worn off in many places and great old patina. The heavy line inside the reel is definately used - but strong.

The center of the reel has the words "WINONA James Heddon's Sons Dowagiac, Mich". and on the back piece it says "Pat'd 1929".

The reel measures 5 inches across and is 3/4 inches wide 9where the line goes).

I didn't find any cracks or damage to the reel that would make it unusable.
