This little animal is a model for us all. I need more playfulness, don't you? I've painted you a river otter, the most playful of the clan. The word "otter" comes from the same root as "water", and their lithe movements follow the gestures of their habitat.
In Zoroastrianism, about which I knew nothing until I researched on Wikipedia, the otter is a sacred, "clean" animal, and it is a sin to kill it.

Enjoy this happy little beastie!

5 x 8 inches on OSB wood.

Painting is not framed.

As with all my work, this painting comes from a smoke-free environment.
