Dutch camp oven lid stand that provides table protection for hot pots & lids. Keeps them clean and away from dirt. Made from 4 new small horseshoes and three mine track railroad spikes for strength and durability. It is forged, welded together to make a strong trivet, which you can use hot, or cold under a pan or even under a potted plant. The forged center ring reinforces the top and makes it really strong....

This is our own original design, no welds are visible on the top and it is a real conversation piece and cute.

*****Feedback from customers***
"I DO like your "Table" Trivet. It would be handy as a Dutch Oven lid stand, something to keep the lid off the ground when stirring the chili. "

**From Chuck: "The small ones worked great, both around the stove and at the table...and as a candle base."

Here's another happy customer's comments: " I received the item, and am very pleased with it. It's a wonderful little unique piece of functional quality, and worked quite well when put to use (I use it as a support for my cast iron skillets and dutch oven). I do believe that I'll be enjoying this thing for a lifetime and beyond. Thanks again!"

*****Construction***
Available only in black. It is painted with heat resistant paint, so when you put something hot on it, it will not melt the paint. You’ll never find a more useful and durable trivet. It’s our own design and creation so don’t settle for cast junk. This is solid steel and made in America. No ugly welds or weld splatter.
Measurements… from center to outside heel of shoes 4-1/2” with a diameter of 8 inches and a height of 1-1/2”

***Plan B comments*
1- "You made me look good!"
2-"I gave Mark & Julie their present virtually yesterday on their anniversary..they loved it!!"
Use only NEW horseshoes so they are clear, crisp, and look great. No icky manure in the creases! Size about 5.5 tall & 5.125" wide, made in America. Can vary slightly. Weighs about 11 oz. Size of area to engrave at the bottom of the shoe is 1.5 - 1.75 inches long.

Hint: For engraving, keep the # of characters to a minimum, to allow for the largest font in this space. AND all capital letters for names is best for legibility and clarity.
New horseshoes are rough from the casting process & some of that rustic-ness remains in each piece. Horseshoes will have slight imperfections.

MAINTAIN THE FINISH. For our shiny finish, please keep the surface free of greasy fingerprints. Oil & grease can damage the finish. Handling the piece on the edges keeps your art in the best shape. Powder coated finishes are most durable over time. Finger prints can usually be buffed away with a soft dry rag, like a thick-pile micro-fibre cloth. Do not use an abrasive if you are cleaning. If you want to refinish it, then an abrasive would be appropriate.
To maintain the finish you can use neutral paste wax to resist rust. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
We do not gift wrap unless asked, because most people want to see their order before they gift it. If you'd like gift wrapping, there is a nominal charge of $5.00.

We will ship directly to your recipient and happy to send you a picture before we ship, so you can approve it. (I would want that option if I was buying something custom made!)

At your request, we will add a note with your sentiments, at no extra charge. Include what you'd like to say and from whom (family members?) in the comments section of your order, or with an email to us through Etsy.

We ship via USPS Priority Mail which is 3 business day delivery to your mailbox in most areas in the US. We ship internationally, via airmail.
Quality and attention to detail is key..... notice the sizing, spacing, proportions, clean welds, & placement of the creases on each horseshoe piece. Welding blobs are filed away, horseshoes are sanded, joints are perfectly matched, letters are proportioned, even the inside of the shoes are finished. They are all well thought out, which makes a beautiful keepsake to give or keep.

Hand stamping is limited to about 10 characters. We partnered with professional engravers, to provide longer names, dates, and sentiments.
